The Aikido, a mysterious martial art
The Aikido shows the spontaneous and ondulantes movements of the nature, in which the power of the ki is accumulated.
The objective of the Aikido is the formation of the ideal human being, unifying the body and the mind through a vigorous mental and physical training, and the profit of a dynamic life, as much in the activity as in the calm.
Originally, the Japanese martial arts were inspired by the objective of the victory in the battlefield. Later the budo was created, that means the Route of the martial arts and whose main modern exponent is the aikido one, that teaches the way to gain the absolute victory being based on the philosophy of the not-resistance.
Not-resistance means to reduce the aggressive, combative and destructive instincts of a person and to channel them through being able of the creative love.
The aikido one is a modern component of the Japanese martial arts. He is orthodox in the fact that it inherits the martial and spiritual tradition of old Japan.
The Teacher Morihei Ueshiba: Founder of the Aikido
In founder of the aikido one, the Teacher Morihei Ueshiba, was born the 14 of December of 1883 and he was called on to him to live in the turbulent time of the modernization of Japan, reason why he was dedicated to establish a martial art that was not anachronistic and could face the necessities of its contemporaries.
The factors that constituted the object of their main interest were the following ones:
A constant love by the traditional martial arts, the care of not being misinterpreted and a deep desire of revivir the spiritual aspect of the budo.
In order to reach his objective, the Teacher Morihei Ueshiba initiated a rigorous search, fed by the constant training in the martial arts, of the truth of the budo throughout the vicissitudes of Japanese history.
Finally, the Ueshiba Teacher concluded that the true spirit of the budo is not in a competitive and combative atmosphere, where the brute force dominates and the supreme objective is the victory whatever the cost, but in the search of the perfection like being human, physically and mentally through constant training and of the practice of compatible the martial arts with spirit.
Thanks to the Ueshiba Teacher, the first principle of the budo was transformed into a contemporary martial art, the aikido one, that at the present time is within reach of all the social classes and is adopted by numerous people in the world like the adapted martial discipline more to our time.
